The Canon EOS 50D builds upon the success of the great 40D and takes it up a level with a 15.1 megapixel sensor, ISO range of 100-6400 (extendable up to a whopping 12800), 3.0 inch LCD (920,000 pixels) with Live View for framing images in the LCD, a shutter speed of 30-1/8000 second, Digic IV processor, integrated cleaning system and continuous shooting at 6.3 frames per second.
Canon has built upon the success of the popular EOS 40D model — which will remain in Canon’s line — with the EOS 50D Digital SLR camera. Expected to be the camera body of choice for advanced amateur photographers this holiday season, the Canon EOS 50D Digital SLR camera carries over the EOS 40D’s 14-bit Analog-to-Digital conversion process for smooth tones, and also includes enhanced noise reduction, especially at higher ISO ranges which will help bring those romantic nighttime shots into greater focus and clarity. Capable of shooting 6.3 frames per second (fps), the EOS 50D Digital SLR camera is ideal for shooting everything from beautiful night landscapes to fast-action sports.

When I read my friend blog that she just baught new DSLR. I don't know that Canon has release new model of DSLR. She wrote about her new toy that it is Canon 1000D. I'm suprised to hear. Then I Google and read about that new DSLR.
Thus, Canon announced a new digital SLR; the Canon EOS 1000D. In addition to the fact that this is a new DSLR, Canon introduce a new segment at the same time; that of the absolute entry level camera class. This means we have finally reached the thousand so we will find a sequence row from 1000 to singular figures. Introducing this new segment, Canon create space for their assortment, which was considered somewhat tight over the last few years. Therefore, it is not possible to publish pictures taken with the camera, despite the fact they already circulate in several European countries, accompanied by the simple yet clear statement that the image quality cannot be judged since it is only a pre-production camera. The following review will offer you an extensive first impression of Canon's new digital entry level DSLR, the Canon EOS 1000D.

The EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM standard zoom lens features an Image Stabilizer and high zoom ratio. With the image stabilizer turned on, you can obtain sharp, natural-looking pictures in dim lighting without using flash or a tripod--very handy for places where flash is prohibited. The lens uses a ring-type USM for swift, silent autofocus and full-time manual focus. Its closest focusing distance is 20 inches (50 centimeters).
